Finger Lakes and Federation

We were privileged to share the United States Federation Meeting in upstate New York a few weeks ago. Remaining true to our charism of restoring right relationships and harmony, the Sisters of St Joseph’s leadership addressed the matter of our use and misuse of the planet’s precious gift of water. With song, poetry, film, graphics and prayer we were called to a just and caring lifestyle that would make this gift available to all. For much of the world’s population it is a life and death issue daily; for all of us the depletion of the earth’s clean water supply presents an immediate challenge. The passion of our Sisters in addressing this issue locally and internationally was inspiring.
