In the Fall of 2003 a group of our Sisters will be making a pilgrimage to LePuy and other French cities to visit the foundation and origins of the Sisters of St. Joseph.

Plans are underway to select the representative group of Sisters.

This is the second pilgrimage to be organized by the Canadian Federation. The first group of 24 pilgrims visited from April 28th -May 13th in 2001 and enjoyed such sights as Mother St. John Fontbonne’s room and tomb in Lyon, as well as being introduced to a wealth of archival material.

Most significant was the tremendous joy they expressed in making pilgrimage, truly walking in the spirit of our early founding Sisters, imbibing the sights and sounds, the tales and heart moving stories of our Fontbonne women of old.

For many, this truly was a life changing event. Future updates on Pilgrimage 2003 will be posted on this Web Site.
