Congratulations to Sister Ellen Leonard: Woman of Distinction
On International Women’s Day, March 8, Sister
Ellen Leonard, Sister of St. Joseph of Toronto, was announced
as one of the women to receive the YWCA 2005 Women of Distinction
Award in the category of Religion and Education. The award
is given to women who “have made extraordinary contributions
to improving the lives of other women and girls”.
