In this season of Advent our worlds suffering
seems especially poignant, as so many of our sisters
and brothers still wait for peace, food, water, health,
and shelter. May each of us live the hope that is ours
in Jesus, who came that all might have more abundant
life. As our lives lessen the suffering of others, then
and only then may they dare to hope. Our wish for each
of us - Sisters, Associates/Companions, friends and
families - is the renewal of Advent hope and the deep
joy of Christmas among those we love.
