Federation Annual Board Meeting
October 17-20, 2007
Morrow Park in Toronto was the venue for the Federation Board Annual Meeting October 17-20, 2007. The six Leadership Teams gathered on Wednesday afternoon for an Orientation Session of creative presentations which outlined the work of the Federation Office and its Committees over the past several years. On Thursday and Friday, following on from the 2006 Meeting and its theme Call: Drawn by a Dream, facilitator Elizabeth Davis RSM once again led the members through prayer, presentation and reflection, on this year’s theme “Led by Love". Saturday brought the ongoing business of the Federation, including evaluations of the past year’s activities and various proposals brought forward by the Executive, other Board members and Committees. The group also enjoyed an engaging interactive session, with song and dance, generously put together by the Vocation Task Force. A warm welcome was extended to this year’s new members – Sisters Joan Atkinson, Kitty Stafford and Jean Moylan from the London congregation, and Sisters Dorothy Ryan, Jean Perry and Amelia Belohorec from Peterborough. Many thanks are due to the Toronto congregation for its wonderful hospitality.
