This year’s Season of Creation (September 1-October 4) official theme is “Living Water”. Each week, the attached offers beautiful prayers such as the ‘Tears of Creation) (week 1), Drops of Hope (week 2), Embracing Water (week 3), ‘To Be Sent Out to Care for the Earth’ (week 4) and ‘Celebrating the Message of St. Francis’ (final week 5). Through readings, scripture, music, reflection and sharing, these prayers celebrate and honour this Season of Creation.
Praying for World Ocean Day (June 8)
This World Ocean Day, we are invited to be “mindful of how long Earth’s oceans have generated and sustained life…” through this special prayer filled with music, scripture, and a reading from Josephine Mandamin - Anishinaabe Grandmother, Elder and founding member of the Water Protector’s Movement.

Letter of Support for Afghan Immigration Applicants
This open, joint letter (signed by the Federation’s Office for Systemic Justice) was sent last week to Canada’s federal Ministers of Immigration and of Foreign Affairs calling for urgent action to prevent the deportation of Afghans with approved or in-process Canadian immigration applications.
